Arturo.

Analytics Engineer based in Monterrey. I build data pipelines, ship products, and help teams turn raw data into decisions.

It started with a robot. I joined the robotics club in high school, in the soccer category, and it was there that I picked up my first ideas about programming, about working as a team, about how electronic components actually work, and about 3D modelling. That laid the foundations of my interest in computing, and what caught my attention most was computer vision and its potential: I found it incredible that a machine could tell objects apart through a camera, and I was fascinated by how it managed to do it.

Around those years AI was showing up everywhere and I couldn't look away: AI-generated video, generated images, text generators. It struck me as incredible, because it was watching the futuristic movies start to become real. I went after the math behind it, and what held me was the moment a model stops being an equation and starts predicting something real.

That thread ran through Computer Science and shifted toward data and statistics, combined with a genuine enjoyment of programming. During my studies I had the chance to do internships in both Software Engineering and Analytics, and across my career I've been able to learn from different worlds — business as much as technology — and build a hybrid profile that lets me make technical decisions fitted to what the business actually needs.

If there's one thing I love, it's the chance to keep learning and to take on challenges that grow me professionally as much as personally. I've met people who were always willing to teach me, and that's why I'm always willing to support the people I work with — spreading a philosophy of helping without expecting anything in return.

Software Engineer (Contract)

FZF Technologies

Building an event-driven pipeline that turns external monitoring events into domain records with an owner, a due date, and an escalation path.

  • Event-driven pipeline ingesting external monitoring events, transforming them into domain records and routing each one to an owner
  • Deduplication, due dates and escalation rules so nothing lands twice or goes unowned
  • Relational model designed from scratch behind the ingestion contract
  • Integration tests decoupled from seeded data, running against a freshly migrated database
  • Durable workflow orchestration and containerized deployment
